Mike was born May 3, 1950 in Cumberland, WI the son of Earl and Doris Thompson. When Mike was six years old his family moved to Hudson, WI where he attended school and was raised. Mike’s dad and his partner purchased a farm on the outskirts of the town of Cumberland and built the Cumberland Golf Course where they used the barn to create the Club House.
